Additionally to the normal website subscription form it would be great to have the option to ask if the subscriber's data should be updated if his email already exists in the list. He would then get an email with a link to update his data

A great feature that other system have is to allow the send to friend and profile update forms to be customized. Basically the system should provide the standard form code, but then allow the page to be edited in the WYSIWYG editor.

In the moment the confirmation-set is based on "to which list does he subscribe". This is a problem: I have forms for the same list on different places. And I promise different rewards for subscribing. Website A: Subscribe to the Newsletter and get a free download. Website B: Subscribe to the Newsletter and geht a coupon for my shop. Website C: A Forum where Users are automatically inserted into the Newsletter. Now there is no way to make individual confirmation-mails for all forms. I always have to write a "generic" confirmation-mail that "fits for all". It makes more sense to me that the descision, which confirmation-set to use is made in the form instead of in the list. Or at least: If the list has a "default" set, but this can be altered in the forms.

The new email creation process is very good. Now make simpler and clearer the form integration process. As first step allow to select among Website integration, Wordpress integration, Facebook integration, API integration etc. 2) Make less confusing the "Other Integration" Options" and and the "Form Completion Options". 3)Allow the admin to show or hide some of the integration via group permissions.

The number one source to opt-in new subscribers is the subscription form. There is absolutely no feature to design the subscription form at all. No templates - nothing. Would be nice if users could design the form while editing the order of the fields and labels as well as some basic graphic design. So that an ordinary user does not need to hand code, what most of them even do not understand.

This feature will be helpful when sending newsletters for huge lists, to avoid the email date delay that triggers spam filters. I guess it can be done by automatically pausing the queue and re-queue, as per my test the date of the email is changed according with the re-queue.

The 'Admin Groups' list (viewable under the 'Admin Groups' tab of the Users page) currently only contains one column: 'Title'. I suggest that this page should also contain another column called 'Users', which lists all of the users associated with that Admin Group. In many cases this will just be one user. However, if it is a long list, then it can be truncated at the end with an ellipsis. Having a 'Date Created' column would also be useful (same with the 'Users' report). Also, on the 'edit' page for an Admin Group, it should show the full (non-editable) list of users that are members of that admin group. Also, the popup that appears when you go to delete an admin group is a little odd. It currently asks this: "You can automatically add users to another group to take the place of this group. If you want to do this, make your choice below." It asks the above question even if there are no users within that admin group. It would be better if the popup either said 'There are no users in this Admin Group' or actually listed the names of the users that are in that admin group. It then gives 2 options in the dropdown box - 'No Group' and the very same group that is being deleted - which would technically be impossible to assign the user to, as we are about to delete that group!

The current 'email confirmation sets' setup is rather confusing and unintuitive. The phrase 'email confirmation sets' is too technical and means nothing to the average user, and the link is hard to find. A major problem with the current setup is that when someone sets up a list, that list gets assigned the 'default' confirmation set, behind the scenes, without the knowledge of the user. This default confirmation set is not approprate for anything really, because it must be sent from a generic name and generic email address, and will have no content related to the particular user. Here are my suggestions: 1) Allow the ability to have a default 'from' email address and sender name per *list*. I know this has been declined in the past, but it's what other services do, and I think it makes things easier. Then, the optin/optout emails will always be sent from the default name/email for that list. 2) Have a new *tab* on the 'Edit This List' page called 'Optin Email' where you can edit the optin email for that list. Don't require the user to firstly have created an 'email confirmation set' in another place - this is too much complexity and not needed. 3) There is no real need for an 'Opt-Out Confirmation' email at all. Other services have gotten rid of this a long time ago it seems. If a user wants to unsubscribe they should be able to do so easily, without having to go and confirm their action by clicking on a link in an email. Having this option just makes things more confusing. There's other things related to this, but the above are the main points.

Currently, subscriber image is fetched from OpenID. However, Facebook/Linkedin and other social networks have a much larger database. I suggest to add a system wide settings to pick where from the image will be taken (or per user group with inherritence from the admin setting) Thanks

it would be a good idea to have a "robots.txt" file in the root of 12all, with this content: User-agent: * Disallow: / this will prevent all search engines from indexing your site and increase security, because most of the time you don't want certain content to be visible in the search engines.

I am running the downloaded version of ACEM. In the last two weeks I have given new accounts to two new users. Both reported "I'm not able to create a new list." The problem is that the "Add" button is at the bottom of the screen, often invisible to users on laptops or small screens. So they futilely click the big Green Add New List button, only to be returned to the same page every time. The terminology and button placement is confusing for new users.

It seems to me that the active campaign is designed more for tech people than for business owners. Too many options are taken for granted. Please add help tooltips next to each input fields. Also add brief introductory text under each area Title. For example, under the area title "Lists" , add a text like this: "The lists are used to store subscriber information or leads, including their e-mail address and other details such as name, company, age, etc."

once you top 20-25 messages, keeping track of them can become difficult. Also, it seems that messages are starting to be listed alphabetically, not by ID or any other way. This is no good...please add a "Date Created" column and a "Last Used" date column in the Message View page to make it easier to scan them...and include these details in the "create message" screen where you show the subjects as preview images.

When we are a normal hosted client it's possible to change the colors at login screen, but when you are a reseller you can't edit it for your clients.

Drag & Drop WYSIWYG Editor [updated]

A great feature I have witnessed and is perfect for 100% of users who have little HTML knowledge and/or don't want to is the ability to easily drag and drop images and additional text areas into a pre-design template. The image library is displayed on the left with thumbnails and the user can just drag the image they want over to the template and it adjusts size accordingly. I think template/email message design needs to be really looked at to help set the system apart further as other companies are bringing this kind of 'ajax' experience into their systems.
